Catch Up (ketchup)

Things that I should've posted but didn't:

March

Hiking at Grotto Trail with the "Pro-Hikers." I couldn't climb the rocks and my legs were shaking because I'm morbidly scared of heights, but I made it. We saw waterfalls or rather just waterfall and it was pretty awesome. Someone found me a walking stick & it kept me balanced. Hiking made me feel like I was an outdoorsy girl, even though deep inside I'm really a hotel-indoor-I-love-my-air-conditioning type of girl.

James & Wil's 30th dessert party. Yumsies. I brought Guillerms with me to the party to meet the family. It went alright. It was kind of a stressful day 'cause Cheese and I were assigned to get the food from all over the place. But, we got our hair did and we looked like our hair never got frizzy from the stress.

The dessert was yum. But, I didn't get to eat all of them. They had eggrolls and everyone knows I'm always on eggroll count.

April

Cooking pinakbet with the Kitchen Jeattes. Pinakbet would be such a healthy dish if anchovies and pork weren't in it...but now I know how to make it! And no matter what you people think it's del-ish!

Vegas!!!!

The girls and I ended up dressing ho-tasticly sophisticated. Is that an oxymoron?

Tryst at the Wynn

Eating sushi at Koi

This was our view from our table. We literally inhaled our sushi that night. If you have a bunch of hungry girls and sushi, it's all over. I loved, loved the baked lobster roll!

My Ignored Blog

My anthropologies to all three of my blog readers. I know I've been ignoring my blog, but I'm trying to not be so addicted to the computer. If you need to know what happened in December through January, read Cheese's blog. It's waaay better than mine these days. It actually has updated entries.

What's new with me:

  • Graves disease
  • The realization that I have a fear of paint balls and that if I'm ever fighting in war, my head would be the first thing shot off
  • I'm a godmother to little Jayden
  • I bought a coat with poofy sleeves
  • I'm in search for the perfect fashion icon
  • "Gladiator" man

Trapped at the Drive Thru

It's been boring at work lately and so co-workers and I were watching this while waiting for patients to show up...what free time does to people. I swear.

Goodbye Summer (Almost)

Since I'm too lazy to do an actual post, I'm just going to list things that I should've posted, but didn't...until now that is. Summer fun stuff:

1. Northern California trip for Lola Mary's 100th - which I kept calling Lola Mary's wedding. Hrm.

2. Training with Mr. T - I don't really know if this actually counts as "fun" but I'll put it in for all the suffering I've been through.

3. Lobsterfest at San Pedro - we used an older lady so we could cut in line. Sadness. The things ppl do to get food.

4. Justin Timberlake's Future Sex Love Sound Concert - who knew that it would be awesome?!

5. Angel's Game - I just went for the hot dogs and nachos...oh and the 7th inning stretch! Brends got us free seats that were really, really close to the field.

6. Spa Hopping for some tranquility.

7. Mark & Grace's Wedding :) I can't find my camera, so I don't actually own pics of this :/

Knotty by Nature

Life. Not fair.

I know this how? Well, let's see: All the hot boys I meet are GAY. (Unless you're gay. Then they're just straight). Chocolates are bad for you. And, massages, which should be deemed a necessity, are far too expensive to get regularly.

I recently went to Burke Williams to get a massage. Yes, the wondrous hands of well qualified massage therapists can transport you to otherwordly places that'll just make you doze off and drool. (Not that I did that). Although, the massage was awesome, I think I have a problem relaxing 'cause my body is chronically contracted. Oh wells. It still felt nice. Plus, the lighting was nice a low and there was a fireplace where I could read my lil' book. It was such a Harry-Potter-common-room-moment.

Then, I went to the jacuzzi. But, all I could think about was how I could potentially get trichomoniasis by having direct contact with the surfaces that are contaminated by the parasite. It could potentially survive in moist environments for several hours---places like a wet towel, a bathing suit, or a toilet seat. I know these modes of transmission are rare, but still. Nasties man. Cochino! So, I got out of the jacuzzi and rinsed myself off in the shower.

Anyways, my next spa stop is at Wine and Roses in August. I'm getting the Wellness massage, so hopefully by then I've learned how to relax & stop thinking about stupid diseases.

Cheese's Bicycle Accident

Cheese had a bicycle accident last Memorial Day weekend. I told her I would commemorate a post about her. So, here's to you Cheesey!

Because I'm actually too lazy to post about the incident & things that I've done with my life lately, you ppl should just check out Cheese's blog. And, you will know that I'm not really a complete waste of time. Only a partial waste of time. Productivity is so overrated anyway.

Scariness

My anthropologies to all three of my blog readers for the lack of posts lately. It's 'cause I haven't been on the internet in eons! Anyway, it's storytime. Okaaay. Today I found out my body fat percentage & for the first time since freakin' high school I checked my weight. Holy crapola! I was walking around thinking I'm cute. Apparently not! This is getting me really tachycardic. Must find a fluffy pillow and situate myself at the corner of my bed in fetal position and rock away this scariness...

Weird Dreams Again

A few days ago I had this weird dream that I had worms in my body. And, they were coming out of my eyes and me-ass!!! Hehe. It was really disgusting. But, for some unknown reason, I wanted to analyze the worms and figure out what kind of worms they were. Hrm...the remnants of microbiology applied. At least these dreams are just gross. They're much better than the recurring ones I have of me running after someone and wanting to beat the crap outta them...so much anger.

Dreaming of Tattoos

A few days ago I had this dream I got a tattoo on my right arm. It was a colored tattoo of an ugly samurai girl surrounded by flowers that went all the way up to my shoulder. I dreamt that getting the tattoo didn't hurt at all. In fact, I didnt even feel anything. Then, the person charged me $225 dollars for it. Why? I dunno. After getting the tattoo, I was saying, "Oh my gosh!!! Why would I get it on my arm?! I can never go to any formal events! There's a stupid samurai on my arm! Why didn't I get it on my lower back?!?! I knew I should've stuck to getting a rose!" Gosh, so much regret. Now, I know...don't get a tattoo of an ugly samurai girl with flowers on my right arm.

Back Home

Yay! I'm back home :) It's kinda weird to be here, but at the same time it's like I never left. I am still sans a car and still without half my clothes. I lost my phone charger, so I can't call anyone because my phone ran out of batteries and no one at home has a charger like mine. Well, at least no one that lives with me. I'm rambling again. But, this is what I do best people! You should know this by now.

Anyway, belated Happy Easter to those I didn't say happy Easter to. My Easter composed of going to mass with Cheese, Ballzee, and the parents. I had to borrow a dress from Ballzee 'cause my flight arrived pretty late 'cause I was delayed at Vegas for three hours. Ballz gave me this sixties type clubbing dress for Easter with this huge belt that wrapped around just below my kumquats. Yeeeah. I wore it to church. I didn't have a choice. We were gonna be late! And, I didn't want to search my luggage for a dress. Oh well...some outfit days are just meant to be off.

'Twas good to have easter with the family and all the good food. Those miniature empanadas and lobsters were the bane of my existence. Yesterday, I ate so much that I passed out on the couch while people were playing Wii. And, then today I woke up all early to workout and I was putting my shoes on in the family room and I passed out on the couch again until 2 in the afternoon. Honestly, sometimes I wonder if I have mono. Maybe I'm anemic. Maybe I'm suffering from one of those unknown illnesses: passing out sober. Who knows?!?! I'm just trying to update this blog that I've ignored for a looong time.

Today is the beginning of a new era people!!!! Should I commemorate it by starting a new blog? Or should I just continue on with this one? Whatcha think? Click on comments please...

Chicago

I love how these pictures capture the spirit of the city. It's kind of odd how many times I've driven to the city this past month. Gosh, what a little free time does to me huh? I'll miss you Chicago. Pictures from www.chicagouncommon.com.
